boarding facility Brookstone Secondary School is a full fledged boarding co-educational school. The school premises is safe and serene. Students are accommodated in pastoral centers with modern and spacious facilities and five students sharing a room. Each pastoral centre accommodates 50 students with an in-built accommodation for a boarding parent. A set of pastoral centres (Two semi detached with 50 students per centre) share a Television/Sitting room which doubles as the reading/dinning room. The male and female pastoral centres are located at a good distance from each other. Boarding parents and form tutors oversee homework sessions and supervise weekend programmes.
There is 24 hours medical services with fully trained nurses. The school is also registered with two good hospitals in Port Harcourt. Laundry services are provided by the school. Communication between students and their parents is highly valued. For this reason students are allowed to receive telephone calls from their parents three days a week. A high level of care, security, support and quality supervision is provided at all times. At Brookstone School security of lives and property is of utmost importance to us and we have given serious thought and attention to this issue. Our premises are guarded day and night by armed mobile policemen and our well trained and efficient security personnel to ensure our staff and students are in a safe environment devoid of fear. The school has two 110kva power generators to ensure constant power supply in the premises.
